Description:

Pulsed power technology is a technology for the compression of electromagnetic energy into a very short period of time, typically measured by nanoseconds. It started in the latter half of the last century using relatively large apparatuses for mostly nuclear-fusion-related applications. This Special Section will shed light on the progress in applications that have benefited significantly from the pulsed-power source developments of the last 20 years.
